What is necessary to get a "motor cycle" racing licence in G.B.today?

Not bothered about points,all I aim to do is,create/maintain interest in racing and perhaps have a laugh along the way.Did my hero worship in the 50/60/70s,when you were lucky to own a double knocker and do a ton ,there were no motorways.but it was only 10bob for your driving test,on anything.

kenmore washer knocking and dimming lights during rinse and spin cycle !?

i got the 90 series model #110.28974890 top load washer that makes a knocking sound during the rinse and spin cycle and some of the house lights also flicker when the washer does this. i replaced the coupler because it was worn out but that was not the problem. could it be that solenoid looking thing screwed to the motor that's causing this?
hey guys i tipped the washer back and ran it to see if what you suggested was the problem, nope that was not it. the knocking noise is coming from the motor on the pump side. i see this spring loaded thing that keeps popping up and down on the motor shaft just under the housing. i removed the motor and pushed it down with a screwdriver but it just pops back up. do i have to replace the whole motor now? its like $180.00 which i cant afford because im out of work now. do you know where i can get it real cheap? HELP!!!!!

I blended the gas with the 2 cycle oil but didn't realize the brand i was using and mixed thre ratio 3 times what it was supposed to be . My weedeater won't start and the is some oil residue seeping out of the motor...what would be the correct process to get the thing to work again???

What is the $ fine in Ventura, Ca. for not wearing a seat-belt properly?

I got pulled over on Main St., in downtown Ventura, and even though I had my seat-belt on and hooked, the motor-cycle cop wrote me up for failure to wear properly. I had put it under my arm and across my chest instead of on top of my left shoulder, as it always cuts into my neck & is very irritating. Just curious if anyone knows what this ticket is going to cost me ?

At what age is your child old enought to own/drive an ATV on their own?

My brother-in-law & his girlfriend bought my neice who is only 4 years old (will be 5 in December) a 4-wheeler & put her in the motor-cross races. It's a small one like a Yamaha Raptor 50 (I'm not sure if that is what it is but that's the size) I think 4 is way too yound to be driving anything motorized. It's way too unsafe. At 4 years old. your child is barely old enough to ride a tri-cycle. I was thinking of giving them our insurance (life insurance) guys business card as a suggestion ~ I mean if your going to endanger you childs life you might as well be prepared. Everyone in the family thinks that I'm over reacting & that it's OK for her to be racing around on this thing. So I've come here to you great people. Would you buy your 4 year old a 4 wheeler & let her ride in races on it?????

( I mean this thing goes like 30 miles per hour or something)

How do I figure out how long it will last ?

i saw it on television once, and i really liked it. i wanted to see it again so i went to blockbuster and they didn't have it. so i went to my last resort and tried to look it up on the internet and i still had no luck.

How does the motor cooling process work on a 1996 20 hp Mercury outboard.

I just got a 20 hp mercury outboard that when idling it will only spit water out the telltale for a while then spray a full stream for a while then only spit for a while and then repeats the cycle.
When in gear and running it sprays a full stream.
Is this normal?Is this cooling controlled by a thermostat and that is how its supposed to act?
Any info is appreciated.

That Trainer told me I have to wait for a year to get my "O R".

gas in my oil on my 1980 yamaha sr250

hello all well ive been having a load of trouble with my bike 1st it will not fire up what so ever some one told me that if the head light is bad it wont crank over well i found the bike in a barn and it had been there about 10 years so i know their is goin be bad seals but i was wondering what other then the seals could cause their to be gas in my motor oil and where can i find parts for this modle bike ive checked many sites and never found any thing worth while i would love to find a complete rebuild kit for the bike so if any leads to where i can find them hit me up drop me an e mail or what ever my e mail is Mr.Chris_50000@yahoo.com and if your in the blountville or bristol or just the tri-cities area and know about motor cycles hit me up

89 LeSabre running rich

Hi all, been a while since I posted but I've got a problem that stumping me pretty good. First, some specs:

-1989 Buick LeSabre T Type with a little over 200k on the chassis
-Vin C motor with about 70k miles on it
-2.79 ratio transmission with about 150k miles on it

Here are my symptoms:

-Sulfur smell after a quick acceleration
-Rich gas smell on startup
-Occasional puff of smoke
-Slow acceleration
-Idles at around 550-650 RPMs but its rough-smooth-rough-smooth-rough-rough-rough after the motor warms up
-Car seems to have better throttle response after resetting the ECM but the problem comes back after its had enough time for a learning cycle

Here are some facts and parts that I've eliminated:

-Flowmaster muffler about 8k miles ago
-High flow cat converter about 15k miles ago (CarSound Magnaflow)
-Belden wires wrapped in loom
-Type II ignition swap (blue on the underside of the coils)
-NGK Iridium plugs (overkill I know now but not at the time I got them)
-NTK (division of NGK) O2 sensor, less than 10k miles on it
-FWI with K&N filter (system worked great on my '88)
-JB welded cam magnet from a code 41 about 10k miles ago
-No codes/SES light
-Correct ECM programmed for 2.79 trans and it is known to be good
-Adjustable vacuum modulator
-"fresh" rubber on the vacuum lines
-No squaling or clunking from the engine
-very slight damage to MAF screen but it has a known good MAF sensor
-I have cleaned the intake recently but the first time 20k miles back or so I did it I used carb cleaner (d'oh!) and since then the MAF has been replaced
-IAC has been swapped out with a known good one
-I don't smell fuel in the FPR and the idle doesn't change when I spray WD40 into it (checking for a pinhole leak)

I think the next step is to check the TPS but otherwise I'm stumped. As far as I can tell it should be running right but its not.

Suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I'm going nuts trying to fix this
No carb on this, its fuel injected.
