what bike? size? jets?Answer #3:
about 5bhp if your luckyAnswer #4:
according to K&N? 15+. In truth, maybe 10hp.I run K&N's in all my vehicles for the savings factor, 1 k&n=$40.00 over the lifetime of my cars/trucks/bikes. Factory filters will cost me over $200.00 with the first 100,000 miles. simple math if you ask me.
I did however notice a substantial gain of power in my Tundra at 65-70mph. I could definitely tell.
Answer #5:
Paper air filters actually flow better than K&N, while offering superior protection from airborne particles. K&N filters are all marketing.OEM filters are perfectly capable of providing all the necessary airflow to an engine without compromising filter capability, while not posing a risk to MAF sensors (an over-oiled K&N filter can drip oil onto a MAF sensor, causing it to read erroneously). Change them before they get clogged, and you'll do fine.
