having an argument with a friend here he goes for mv Augusta f4 ( beauty higher price more exclusive)
i say reliability, better quality engineering.. is in favor of the ducatti 999 any idea's ppl?

Fraudulent motorcycle title? HELP!?

I purchased a 2002 MV Agusta with a salvage title, when I received the title afters months of waiting , it names the manufacturer as Aprillia. The bike came from a shop that rebuilds wrecked bikes in California and I don't think their on the up n up with this title. How do I find out if this title is legitimate?
I made a HUGE mistake when I bought this bike, I wired the money to the shop because I beleived that it was ok, I bought it off E-bay and really got hosed. When I went to pickup the bike, 30% of the bike was missing and he didnt have the title, It took him months to produce it, I'm just trying to figure out who to call to find out how an MV Agusta can be made by Aprillia?

two most favorite bikes are designed by the same guy. MV Agusta design, minus the four-cylinder engine, was originally designed for Ducati. Tamburini has been called a "bandit" by Ducati. He managed to take his designs with him when he left, right? How did that happen, and why did he leave Ducati?
Actually, Ducati chose NOT to renew their contract with Tamburini. It wasn't Tamburini who left Ducati.

BTW, the same brain surgeons that hired Terblanche are the same ones that let Tamburini go AFTER they rejected the designs that eventually became what is now the MV Agusta F4.

My vote goes to the Ducati 916. Timeless styling, and influenced all sport bike styling since its release. Ill never forget when I was 10 years old and my dad brought his home, its the reason I love bikes. The MV Agusta is pretty gorgeous too.

Buell Motorcycles will cease to exist!! They've just announced here on the local Milwaukee area news this morning that Harley is bleeding lots of money. Sales are down $100 million for 3rd quarter this year from 3rd quarter last year. Erik Buell was crying while he made the announcement - Harley is dropping the entire Buell line and selling MV Agusta ASAP. A couple hundred jobs lost in the East Troy Buell plant (about 35 miles west of Milwaukee)... probably some more at the Harley plants around Milwaukee.

Basically, there are a lot of super sport motorcycles that claim to best. I want to know which one really has the best performance. I don't have much of a restriction on how much I can pay, but I can't pay millions for a pro racing bike, and if a $15,000 dollar bike is amazing I don't want to pay $100,000+.
I am an experienced rider with track training on pro motorcycles. I can handle just about any motorcycle.
I know places where I can go fast. A 650 is not enough.
Looking for a new bike, not a classic.
Fine, I am not a pro, but I needed a way to convince you guys to give me information other than "you need a smaller bike, you will never need to go that fast." I just want to know what is out there these days. Keep the answers coming.
