Question #2:
Typical Price of a Maintenance Checks on Motorbike in a Garage?
I've recently bought a motorbike (Honda CBR 125cc) and I've got a good price for it.I know there are a few factors that require seeing too, however I have just carefully looked through the paperwork I got, and I found that it failed its MOT on almost every occasion (but then passed).
I am new to owning a vehicle and I want to make sure that my bike is in good condition, so I'm not gonna break down.
So I think I'll go to a local garage to see if they can do a maintenance check and tell me what I need to replace on it and so on.

Question #5:
anyone know what motorbike im talking about?
The other day, i was walking by and i saw this motorbike parked, I was in a rush so I couldnt examine it properly. It was a really small bike, definitely not a scooter, not a dirt bike, and not a ninja 250, though it had a similar front end to a 250 it was smaller and the bike itself seemed smaller.(I know its smaller than a 250 because my neighbhour had one parked in his garage one day, I did a full examination of that bike that (Y) ).
This bike looked relatively new, but i havent been able to find bikes of that displacement range on most manufacturers websites. Anyone know what it might be? Because I myself am looking for a starter bike.
Im in canada

Scooter Modifications?
I want to modify my 90cc petrol motorbike just to improve the efficiency and possibly the range that it can go. I'm not too concerned about the performance. Here's the mod list that I've thought up:
Free flowing exhaust with resonated piping, grounding kit,new spark plug with a new wire and intake with a panel filter.
Maintenence: Seafoam engine treatment, High grade oil with new oil filter and 95 octane fuel.
I am on a budget so no crazy expensive stuf.
Do you think that this a good list?

Please correct my eassy, it's about the story of my life...?
Weltering in my blood, I realized I was dying. Had I known the drunk rogue had a knife, I would not have talked back when he shouted at me for no reason while I was tunning my motorbike; had I known I was going to die today, I would have spent more time with my parents; had I know this was my last day, I would at least dress up neatly... It was too late. I was lying there, motionlessly, losing sight and hearing. My seventeen-year life popped up on my mind just like a movie, but I could not find a strong reason to live on.I am half Chinese half Japanese. I was born in November 15 1985 in Ningbo, China. My mother is a native Chinese. My father was a Japanese. My grandfather was a Japanese soldier of Kanto Army, who died in the camp of Siberia after the war. My grandmother moved from Yamagata Japan to the northeast part of China (Manchukuo) thinking of starting a new life as told by the Mikado during the early stage of the war. After the war, she lost touch with my grandfather and stayed in China with my father and then moved to Shandong province in the 50s.
Growing up in China, the question I didn't want to hear the most was why you do not look like a Chinese. Maybe sometimes it was just kidding, but I got really nervous when asked questions like that, because I was trying really hard to hide this secret. My father hid the secret the whole life because this was something that could get himself killed in the Culture Revolution. I found it really hard to mingle into the Chinese society, and then I did everything alone. I ate alone, rode and rebuilt motorbike alone, played guitar alone, built radio controlled models alone, programmed MCU alone. I didn't feel lonely for I have so much to do and I poured so much heart into the stuff I really love.
After a three-day coma, I woke up finding myself to be the second patient to survive the pinched atria in the of the hospital. To be honest, I did not feel quite excited about my survival. I began to think of a serious question---'what is happiness? Maybe spending time on the stuff I like is fun. But this form of happiness is small and never lasts long. After days of meditation, I decided that the true happiness should be based on something much higher such as benefiting mankind, realizing my full potentials, and fit myself into a free society. Thus, I made a promise to myself: not only must I go to college, I will go to USA to get a Ph.D.. In order to achieve this goal, I began to study diligently. In only one year, my rank rose from 450th to 30th among 500 students. Finally, as a student of the first level, I was accepted into Zhejiang Sci-tech University, one of the most renowned universities in Zhejiang province.
I chose AuE as my major because I love vehicles. I have been a motorcycle enthusiast for over 12 years. And I can fix most of the bikes. I am also interested in MCU systems, Matlab programming, advanced manufacturing.
it's not quite finished yet..but I can use some advise and tell me how you feel after you read it. It's my homework.

What kind of Vespa/electric scooter should I get?
So I wanted to buy an electric scooter/vepsa for my ~4 mile commute through the city 4 days of the week. Problem is, I don't know what to be looking for. I want to stay pretty cheap, like I'm definately not looking for one of those newer $3,000 2007 Vespas posted all over craigslist. I want an older one because all the newer Vespa styles suck. MAybe its not even a Vespa I'm looking for, maybe just some type of scooter. Just one that'll do ~40 mph or less and is street legal. For instance the following one looks dumb as hell and is pretty expensive:

I was thinking more like this but thats still pretty dumb. Something... boxier and not as "sleek", this sleek style is just dumb:
THIS ONE IS MY FAVORITE OF THESE: Click Here

Question #17:
Motorbike helmets - do they need to cost a lot - what are a good make? Other essentials?
I expect you need to try helmets on so new from ebay not an option? This scooter we're getting is an essential cos my husbands work is moving further away but we're gonna be skint from buying it so any economies we can make without compromising safety would be great. What is essential other than a helmet and where to get it?Ken - you can just say you don't know the names of any good brands which are economical? Or better still just answer questions you do know? I am a nurse so have also seen the results of accidents which is why I specified 'without compromising safety'
Thanks Patt and Delaine - don't have that certification here in the UK but an obscure rating system. Am sure some of the helmets are the same as those available in US so will look them up on both systems.
Question #18:
What do you think so far for my book idea + a little help with name choice please?
Right, her name is Chlodoswintha, Chlo for short and to her friends. She is like a goth sort of person, wears dark clothes, has dark brown hair, naturally pale skin, gray eyes. She is 15. If she starts something she's always got to finish and in her spare time she is trying to write the first draft of a novel she wants to publish. She goes to an academy where her friends are all goth and one of them is the, slit-my-wrists, sort of emo. I don't really have much on this yet but so far I think it's coming along quite good. I want to throw motorbikes into this story somewhere for some reason and am thinking of making her go for older guy who is a dirt bike man and she goes to his races and stuff but I have no idea how to piece it all together yet.Her friends might be called - Scarlett, Kaila, Rachel, Jordan, Lisa, Jake, Liam, Taylor, Eve
The older guy might be - Ajax or Benignus
As Benignus he would be know as Ben obviously and his family have a thing for latin and mythology stuff and that's where the name Ajax comes from as it is a mythological person to do with Trojan I think. Benignus is better I think because in latin I think (there is a lot of I thinks in this) it means kind and again it is a late latin name (or something like that)
That won't be all her friends it'll just be like two of the girls and one of the guys or maybe more. I'm not changing the main characters name and it is not made up, it is a goth name which is a East Germanic Tribe and they were part of something to do with the roman empire which her mum studies as part of her job and it is a favourite subject to her.
I have done some brief research on all of this as you may be able to tell, I didn't know anything about these names before today.
How do you think it's coming along so far? What names for her friends out of my selection (not open to new names for any of this)? And out of the two, for the guy she meets?
I explained this, she will be Chlo and he will be Ben. Her mother is a history teacher and his mum likes mythology like greek and stuff and wanted him to have a name like the people she studies. He will just say his name is Ben but his full name is Benigus.
because that's boring!
Question #19:
I dont know if I love my partner?
Me and my partner have been together for 4 years and have a one year old son.The last 2 years he has been out of work because of a serious motorbike crash that left him with a broken spine amongst other problems. He has recovered well and has been looking for new work the last few months with next to no luck.
I'm trying to balance study with motherhood and trying to bring in some money and i'm existed with feeling like i'm the only one making an effort (I no this is not the case so please don't judge).
I feel stuck in a little bubble and am desperate to see other parts of the world before my son has to go to school and we need to be settled, but i'm scared that if we go away then this will stop my partner from getting into work for longer. I don't know if ive fallen out of love with my partner or my feelings are just clouded by all the other stuff that surrounds us
